This is "Maggie". She is our resident robin. This is her 3rd year living here. She built her 3rd nest right by the last two.

Her last batches of babies have not lived. This year she has three. She hardly leaves her nest and holds real still when we are out. The girls thought she was a fake bird.

We have babies! Little barenecked robins.

The baby robins thought I was there to feed them! I got a great picture.

This little guy was peeking at me.

The baby robins are sleeping alot. "Maggie" doesn't spend all day with them any more.

The babies are finally getting their feathers. I don't think they will be here much longer. I hope I get to see them learn to fly.

Tavin

Pictures of Taven. The camera makes him look chubbier than he really is. He is a cutie though.

Bailee's solo ensemble

Bailee had a lot of fun preparing and performing for her solo ensemble. Her song was amazing. She did not make state but had a lot of fun.

This is the Jazz Emsemble:

Here is her Solo: It sounds just as good on her side as it does with her upright. (Sorry I can't figure out how to turn the picture. I guess I took it sideways).

Happy day - Fast Internet

We finally can get something done on our computer. We have had Digis install wireless internet in our house. It gives us a broadband connection that is lightning fast (to those of use who are used to the snail slow dialup we have had) and seems to work very well. At the same time, we installed a wireless router, so anyone visiting can use our internet connection.

Anita will spend some time, maybe next week, and do a better update.

Family activity at Causey Dam August 2008

Von's family had canoes that we borrowed. The girls loved the canoes. Weston and Clayton weren't too sure of them.

Duane thinks we ought to have canoes of our own. The girls agreed with him.

It was quite a stretch to the water . Carrying the canoes wasn't too bad.

The Little Ones loved the sand and rocks.

Weston had a treasure box he was finding things for. We all had a great day.

Family Reunion at Tony's Grove

Tony's Grove Lake. It was so pretty there. The spring flowers were just in bloom. The weather was perfect. A snow bank here and there. I took hundreds of pictures to practice my watercoloring.

Three bumps on a rock.

The boys had a lot of fun playing with cousins.

Mom's Watercolors

This is the gate I painted in Heber the first day of the paint out. I was so scared to be left on my own to figure it all out. Practice is what I am doing now to be more ready for next year.
This gate is painted in Midway the second day of the paintout. I had a lot of fun and will do it again nest year.
